My passion for music started at the young age of ten. I was given a DJ program called AtomixMP3 and experimented with the few songs I had on my computer. My interest grew as I started listening to local DJ mixtapes and exploring different genres of music. I also got into music production, which helped me better understand song structure.
As I grew older, the more I dreamed of having own my own studio and DJ set-up. Right before I ended my senior year in high school, I got a job working as a mobile DJ and photo booth operator for a DJ franchise in Dallas/Fort Worth. Throughout my time with them, I learned a lot about the wedding business and customer service. After 6 years with the company, I decided to pursue my dream and go independent. I had the opportunity to DJ for many huge companies, school districts, and musicians (such as Dorrough Music). To this day, I’ve done 700 events and counting. Other than DJ’ing, I enjoy playing flag football, helping my personal training clients achieve their fitness goals, and teaching my 3 dogs new tricks.

Henry is our head Photobooth Director. He will insure all of your guests will have a blast using our photobooth and 360 photobooth. He can also MC in Spanish too! Henry is currently in training to be our next DJ.

What sets me apart from other DJs?
What sets me apart from other DJs is my range and knowledge of different music genres and cultures. I had the opportunity to DJ weddings of all cultures, and got to explore a variety of music throughout my career. I’m capable of reading the crowd and going with the flow to get people on the dance floor. I’m confident enough to handle any type of events. The client can be as involved, as they want when it comes to the music.
How would you describe your personality?
I would describe my personality as detailed oriented, and flexible. I communicate with my clients to ensure that their big day goes as planned. Between discussing the smallest of details and ensuring clear communication with the other vendors, I make sure my client is stress free throughout the night. I’m able to be as outgoing or as laid back to what the clients need. I like to go out on the dance floor and teach the guests the dance if they aren’t familiar with it.
What type of music do you usually play?
I have a wide range of music I like to play, but at the end of the day I cater to what you want to hear! I don’t have a set playlist that I play for every event. I’ve done weddings where I played all Hip-Hop music to weddings where I played nothing but country music. I discuss in detail with all my clients to make sure they get what they want and more!
What was your favorite memory as a DJ so far?
I have so many amazing memories as a DJ, but I would say one of my favorite memories was actually me getting the opportunity to officiate my friends’ wedding. The whole Jove team was there to take care of the entertainment. It was a night to remember!
